Le papier kraft primaire est brun. Pour que les images soient mieux imprimees et les couleurs soient plus vives, le papier kraft est traite a la production meme par des agents de blanchiment qui le font blanc comme la neige. Pour y ajouter un effet de reps (micro lignes ou micro carreaux), apres le blanchiment le papier kraft est supplementairement traite dans l’usine productrice.
Le papier kraft est completement recyclable, ses fibres sont fermes et jusqu’a 50% plus etirables, ce qui fait ce type d`emballage exceptionnellement stable portes avec tous types de poignees et de cordes.
Les sacs en papiers kraft sont generalement utilises pour l'emballage de marchandises et de vetements de plus grande taille et poids - costumes, manteaux en fourrure, canadiennes, bouteilles contenant des liquides, etc.
Des papiers kraft verges allant de 80 a 170 g/m2sont surtout utilises pour la production des sacs publicitaires, en combinaison avec des cordons en coton.
