The initial kraft paper is brown. Kraft paper is treated with various bleaching agents that make it snow-white to enable better printing of images and brightness of colors on it. For adding a rep effect (micro lines or squares), kraft paper is additionally treated after bleaching in the manufacturing plant.
Kraft paper is completely recyclable, its fibers are strong and up to 50% more elastic, which makes the bags extremely stable when carried with any type of handles and lacings.
Kraft paper bags are used mainly for packing goods and clothes of larger sizes and weights - suits, leather coats, jackets, bottles containing liquids, etc.
Rep kraft papers of 80 to 170 g/m2 combined with cotton lacings are mainly used for advertising paper bags.
